My Mission

“My mission is to use design as a bridge between environmental innovation and human potential. I believe meaningful design happens when empathy meets strategy — when people and communities are co-creators of the solutions they need.”

Design Philosophy

I see design as a tool for transformation, not decoration. My work is guided by four core principles:

Empathy

Understanding people's lived experiences before proposing solutions.

Systems Thinking

Tracing connections between environment, economy, and education.

Co-Creation

Building with communities, not for them.

Iteration

Using experimentation to turn ideas into sustainable change.

My Story

My journey is fueled by a simple, powerful curiosity: how can we transform waste into new possibilities? This question drives my practice as a design innovator and project manager, where I translate systemic challenges into tangible, community-powered solutions.

I founded and lead aSantE Cycle, a youth-led initiative that operationalizes this curiosity. I managed the entire project lifecycle, from user research with farmers and wood workers, to prototyping the waste-to-substrate process, to building a viable model that empowers young people to become environmental innovators.

This hands-on, iterative approach defined my work with the Green Classroom Initiative, where I designed and led a program to introduce circular economy principles. I didn't just design the curriculum; I managed its implementation, transforming classrooms into real-world labs for creativity and climate literacy.

Professionally, I've managed complex projects for organisations like Women's Haven Africa, Mastercard Foundation, Generation Ghana, MEST Africa, US Embassy Ghana, and GIZ Ghana. My role consistently involves leading cross-functional teams, securing funding, and most critically designing the scalable systems and human-centered experiences that ensure ideas become measurable impact.

My creative process merges data, empathy, and rapid prototyping. I am proficient with tools like Figma for digital ideation, but I am just as comfortable sketching by hand or collaborating directly with carpenters and makers to bring physical products to life. I believe design's true power is realized not in studios, but in farms and communities, where it can help people solve real challenges daily.

This commitment has led me to represent African youth on global platforms, including discussions with The Earthshot Prize, where I contributed insights on making climate innovation accessible and actionable.
